In this level, not every beat starts with a note. Sometimes an eighth rest will fall on the beat, but an eighth note will come right after it so you will still play the drum between beats!

Try to count “1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 1…” along with the metronome. The “and”s between the beats are the perfect time to hit the drum when a note is off the beat!
